Jr. Accountant

In our Global Finance Team, we take care of all the company's financial activities at GoodData – from planning and analysis to precise accounting. We are 11 great people working together as a well-coordinated team within the FP&A and Accounting departments. Right now, we are looking for a new colleague to join us as a part-time Jr. Accountant (DPČ/DPP contract).

• Perform accounting activities in CZ entity (AP, AR, etc.).

• Perform duties according closing schedule and according to task list to meet deadline of monthly closing activities,

• Book accounting data into our cloud accounting system (no papers - all in electronic form),

• Guide employees through critical steps in the expenses processing and is responsible for review and processing of expenses,

• Perform reconciliations of assigned accounts (bank accounts, etc.).

• Work closely with other members of the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate results.

• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Office Management, Internal IT) to obtain necessary approvals and accounting data.

• Participate in the annual statutory audit.

• Handle various smaller assignments to ensure smooth accounting operations.

• Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed.

• Are a university student in economics, finance, or similar — or you're returning to work and want a flexible start.

• Want to connect theory from your studies (or past experience) with real-life business practice.

• Have good Excel skills.

• Are detail-oriented, reliable, and curious to learn

• Are fluent in Czech or Slovak, with good English skills

• Knowledge of NetSuite, Concur

• Previous experience in accounting department
