The Company

A well-established international financial group with headquarters in Cyprus is expanding its crypto operations in the Czech Republic. The company is building a regulated exchange and preparing for MiCA licensing, with all legal and compliance documentation already reviewed and approved by top-tier external firms.

The Role

Were looking for an experienced leader to join as Executive Director of the Czech entity a key role with full-time responsibility for operations, compliance alignment, and local growth.

Once the license is obtained, this position transitions to General Manager, reflecting broader authority and increased responsibility for strategic and commercial direction.

You'll play a vital role in shaping the company's presence in Czechia from the ground up, building relationships with regulators, and leading the local team through its next phase of growth.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and oversee daily operations of the Czech entity, ensuring alignment with group strategy and regulatory requirements
  • Serve as the primary contact for Czech regulators, ensuring compliance with MiCA, AML, and KYC frameworks
  • Support the MiCA licensing process in coordination with the groups compliance and legal teams
  • Build and manage the local team as operations expand post-licensing
  • Oversee financial and operational performance of the Czech entity
  • Foster trusted relationships with local stakeholders, partners, and regulatory authorities
  • Contribute to long-term business strategy and ensure operational excellence

What You Bring to the Table

  • Proven experience in senior management within the crypto space
  • Strong understanding of Czech and EU financial and crypto regulatory frameworks
  • Experience dealing with regulators (Czech National Bank or similar authorities)
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related field
  • Fluent Czech and professional English required
  • Based in Prague
