Who are we?

Chart Ferox, based in Děčín, Czech Republic, is the principal European engineering and manufacturing facility of Chart Industries. The site has a global reputation for excellence in cryogenic technology, specialising in equipment and solutions for the storage, distribution, and end-use of liquefied gases such as air gases, CO2, LNG, and hydrogen.

Chart Ferox plays a key role in pioneering projects, including small-scale LNG terminals, bunkering systems, and fueling infrastructure for natural gas and hydrogen vehicles. With advanced manufacturing capabilities and a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and safety, the Děčín facility supports customers worldwide through engineering expertise, high-quality products, and comprehensive aftersales service.

Your main responsibilities

Develop and execute long-term strategies for the operations in Decin.

Oversee core functions:Manufacturing, QHSE, Customer Service & Project Management, Supply Chain, and Facility Management.

Indirectly manageDesign Engineering, HR, Finance, and IT through a matrix structure.

Create and monitor annual financial plans and budgets (including CAPEX).

Drive cost reductions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Lead talent development and performance management across the organisation.

What you should bring

At least 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within a manufacturing or project-based environment, ideally in engineering or industrial production

University degree – ideally in a technical field, complemented by an MBA

Advanced English proficiency – communication within a multinational group

Proven experience in leading larger teams (from dozens to hundreds of employees)

Ability in strategic planning, project management, and process design

Strong focus on results, efficiency, and continuous improvement

Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills

A team-oriented mindset and experience with change management in a dynamic environment

A proactive approach to new technologies and innovations in manufacturing
