Job Summary

eCommerce trainee plays an important role in supporting key account managers and ensuring the smooth operation of Hill's eCommerce business in the direct CZSK market. He/she has the opportunity to work closely with the sales team, gaining valuable experience in data processing, customer management, and market analysis. This role provides the eCommerce trainee with an understanding of the eCommerce industry and gives the chance to make a meaningful impact on the business.

Customer Management Support

  • Assist key account managers in managing and growing customer accounts, including order processing, inventory management, and customer communication

  • Help create and manage product listings in the eCommerce and other sales channels, ensuring accurate and up-to-date product information and pricing

  • Assess and analyze the outcomes of various promotional activities, prepare materials for back bonus evaluations

  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and logistics, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer experience

  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

Analytics & Data Support

  • Conduct market research and data analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth, and provide insights to the key account managers

  • Assist in the creation and delivery of sales reports and dashboards to track performance and identify areas for improvement

  • Manage and update customer data in the company's CRM system, and ensure data accuracy and completeness

  • Assist with other tasks as needed, such as inventory reconciliation, pricing analysis, and vendor communication.

Education/ Experience Requirements

Basic qualifications include:

  • Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent required

  • Experience in ecommerce and sales/marketing, retail or digital marketing is welcomed

  • Passionate about digital and eCommerce

  • Excellent oral & written English

Expected Areas of Skills 

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with internal teams

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

  • Basic knowledge of Google tools and data analysis tools, and the ability to learn new software quickly

  • Ability to think critically and problem-solve, including the ability to identify and resolve issues with data accuracy, customer orders, and other eCommerce-related tasks

  • Basic understanding of eCommerce and digital marketing principles, including the ability to identify trends and opportunities for growth

  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn, with a positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges

  • Basic understanding of customer service principles and the ability to provide a high level of service to customers

  • Fluent in spoken and written English (or the language required for the role), with good communication skills.
