About the Role:

We are looking for a Project Management Expert to lead and oversee complex Global Finance Administration projects from initiation to completion. Ideal candidates will possess exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope on budget and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strategic planning capabilities, stakeholder management and the ability to drive cross-functional teams toward successful project outcomes. The applicant will gain an extended network at SAP and be in contact with GFA SAP Senior leadership team members who act as sponsors of the projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are executed efficiently while adhering to quality standards and business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Opportunely communicate project status, risks and issues clearly and effectively to all parties. Foster strong relationships to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively monitor and address issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables.
  • Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring collaboration and accountability. Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members. Foster a positive team environment that encourages innovation and problem-solving.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Prepare and present project reports, metrics, and post-project evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of project management experience in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple topics simultaneously with high attention to detail. Ability to prioritize is Key for success.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong presentation skills to C-level executives.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive decision-making processes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience managing global or enterprise-level projects.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification required.
  • Agile or Scrum certification (e.g., PMI-ACP, CSM).
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project) is a nice to have.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Change management skills.
