Senior UI Artist

Wolcen is looking for a passionate Senior UI Artist, interested in working within a multi-cultural team and Unreal Engine 5 in our journey to develop and work on very interesting projects. The ideal candidate is organised and self-motivated and must work well with others, enjoy, and seek out collaboration. You will work with multiple disciplines to identify effective solutions.

This is a full-time position, fully remote role, you can be located anywhere in the European region.

What you will do as a Senior UI Artist at Wolcen:

• Create modern UI, Icons, textures and patterns
• Use Figma mock-ups to propose multiple solutions in congruence with Game Design requirements
• Propose strong aesthetic compositions that respect the hierarchy of information.
• Create prototypes in Unreal Engine 5
• Work with Art direction and help define a style with a strong identity
• Collaborate with the UI programmer's team and implement your assets and blueprints directly in UE
• You are responsible to bridge 3 departments: Programming, UI Dev and Art
• Being able to work autonomously, capable of giving yourself feedback and safe guard the quality of the UI

What skills you will use:

• Strong UI experience. preferably within PC and console games

• Strong drawing skills

• Solid experience with Adobe Photoshop and Unreal

• Solid experience with Figma

• Strong communication skills

• Advanced English skills

Nice to have:

• Experience with Shaders in UE
• Experience with Animations in UE Motion design experience
• Capable of developing specific Fonts is a bonus
• Experience with 3D software
