THE ROLE

This position offers an incredible opportunity to join Ecomexperts,as a Senior SEO Specialist, you will take the lead on SEO campaigns for our key clients.

Your focus will be on organic search, specifically technical and semantic SEO.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mentoring and supporting team members to elevate a top-tier SEO team
• Leading and managing a portfolio of key SEO campaigns.
• Developing, implementing, and analysing SEO campaigns for a diverse range of clients, delivering strategies in technical SEO, content, and link acquisition to expand their market presence.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest SEO and marketing industry trends to devise innovative strategies.
• Assisting in the enhancement of the SEO service alongside senior team members.
• Collaborating with sales staff on key client pitches.

ABOUT YOU

• Google Sheets Expert - You know advanced formulas and work fast in sheets

• E-commerce SEO experience.

• Understanding of semantic SEO principles.
• Already use ChatGPT on a daily basis and understand its potential.
• Strong understanding of building SEO processes to save time.
• An excellent understanding of keyword research, organic growth strategy, as well as metadata, and website cross-linking implementation.
• An in-depth understanding of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console.
• Experience with SEO tools such as SEMRush, Ahrefs, ScreamingFrog, and Google Data Studio would be beneficial.
• The ability to read and understand coding languages such as HTML and CSS, as well as best practices across search engines.
• Confidence in CRAFTING YOUR OWN strategies focused on organic growth.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage your workload effectively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in managing campaigns daily, coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless processes and high-quality outputs.
• Previous management experience with a passion for mentoring and training.
• Comprehensive knowledge in all SEO domains, including strategy development, technical, on-page, off-page, and content strategies.
• Extensive experience with technical SEO.
• Fast learner and being able to work under pressure.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

At least three (4) years of experience in a similar senior position.

Experience managing large, high-profile clients.

A proven track record in SEO, demonstrating success in technical, content, and link acquisition strategies.

Experience in process and training development.

Strong analytical capabilities and a background in metrics and measurement.

Proficiency with SEO tools such as ScreamingFrog, ahrefs, SEMRush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, etc.

In-depth technical knowledge, including experience with website migrations, audits, server file analysis, and resolving JavaScript issues.

Exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines consistently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong leadership, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
