The Role

As a Unified Systems Operator at Kyndryl, you'll take on a critical role of monitoring, controlling, and maintaining cutting-edge systems across our expansive infrastructure environment. You'll be the key to providing innovative solutions to both technical and business challenges – ensuring seamless operations that push the boundaries of what's possible.

In this role, you'll become a trusted advisor to our customers, offering insights into best practices and resource utilization. You'll be vital in maintaining our infrastructure through monitoring and validating events and or alerts, executing preventative tasks and escalating potential outages or abnormal situations, applying a proactive approach to challenges.

As a Unified Systems Operator, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams and specialists on projects and interact directly with customers to understand their needs – facilitating cohesive and successful partnerships.

  • Supporting customers with technical questions
  • 1 st level applications and OS support:Wintel/UNIX/Linux and network support
  • Continuously monitoring and surveilling various data sources, systems, and processes
  • You provide first-class customer and internal team`s support.
  • Basic troubleshooting, understanding of user account management, and familiarity with common protocols such as DHCP, DNS, and HTTP
  • Keep a close eye on real-time information and indicators to maintain situational awareness and identify any potential issues or threats.
  • Guiding customers according to solution trees and knowledge base to solve incidents and service requests.
  • Providing detailed information on all performed activities to the next appropriate level specialists according to the process
  • Updating the on-call management system accurately and efficiently with call details, actions taken and resolution
  • You have a passion for helping customers and or other support teams
  • Customer focused and passionate about giving excellent customer service.
  • Excellent phone manner and can show an empathetic attitude.
  • You think in a systematic and logical way.
  • You are fluent in French and English
  • Availability to work on shifts.
  • Min. 1 year of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related fields
  • Windows Server certification
  • CCNA/CCNP certification
