At KONE, we are dedicated to improving the flow of urban life through innovative solutions in elevators, escalators, and automatic building doors. As a Procurement Specialist , you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and quality of our supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all procurement activities, including supplier contracts, price negotiations, and RFQ management within your area of responsibility.
  • Act as the contract owner for direct material suppliers and support the implementation of global and regional category plans.
  • Identify and drive cost-saving initiatives to enhance profitability.
  • Ensure supplier quality and on-time delivery in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Report monthly key performance indicators and manage budgets, forecasts, and savings for your area of responsibility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Business).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven experience in leading supplier negotiations and managing relationships with local, regional, and global suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a multinational environment.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset.
  • Willingness to travel.
