About the role
The Sr. Manager, People Strategy reports to the Senior Director, People Strategy INTL and will be based in our offices in Prague. They will partner with leaders across the business to tackle day to day people issues and build performance management and talent development programs. It's not just what you are contributing that's important to our people - it's HOW you do it
The ideal candidate will be laser focused on understanding the business priorities, our culture and our people challenges as we scale. They will work to build solutions that will enable our employees to have the most productive and satisfying work experiences of their careers. You will be the people expert, working closely with leaders as they work on growing and developing their teams.
Specifically, your focus will be to:
- Help lead the culture and build our Prague team. Your role in partnership with TA and cross functional leadership, will ensure that we are hiring the right people to help achieve our shared goals.
- Partner with leaders to proactively diagnose and communicate trends around people and team issues (ie engagement, retention, collaboration) and support the development of solutions to address them
- Act as a coach and partner to managers to strengthen and support their skills in performance coaching, handling difficult conversations, get well plans and other employee focused challenges.
- Partner with the People Strategy leadership team to drive the execution of the employee lifecycle - including performance management, merit and bonus planning, promotions, internal transfers as well as conduct exit interviews and terminations.
- Deliver with a consistent focus on building a high-performing culture of growth and development through effective leadership, communication and feedback.
- Work with the with People Strategy team and business leaders, you'll ensure that employee initiatives are in line with and reinforce our company's culture and core values
- Establish relationships across the People Strategy teams globally, and the hiring and leadership teams for Prague. Your goal is to build a solid understanding of our company goals, the team and regional goals and a strong perspective on how to connect and drive our people through this new experience.
The skills and qualities you'll bring include:
- 5-7 years of professional work experience in People Strategy, Organizational Development, Talent Consulting or a related field
- Preferably educated to degree level (or equivalent)
- A delicate balance of business acumen, empathy, relationship building, and courageous dialogue with unquestionable integrity.
- Approaches challenges with a learning mindset - you are not afraid to try something different and learn from your mistakes
- You are passionate about understanding and optimizing the day to day experience of our people, and are there to help guide our employees through their journey
- You are approachable, and always eager to help with strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and the ability to influence and align with stakeholders across Talent Acquisition, People Strategy, and business leadership.
- You are an amazing communicator, able to effectively work with discretion and sensitivity across all levels of the business
- Handles ambiguity well – actually thrives in it and a natural problem solver
