Overall Purpose of job

Contribution in organisation of planning and implementing of all relevant product and pricing issues.

Place in Organisation

This position reports directly to the Product Manager. There is close liaison with other members of the Sales team as well as a need to work with other departments within Kia Czech (KCz) including Sales, Ownership Experience, PR, Finance and IT.

Key Responsibilities

The following is a non exhaustive list of responsibilities for the role:

  • Contributes to the development and implementation of product development plans and monitors the progress of specific projects
  • Reviewing new product development and product analysis in order to maintain awareness of trends and activities
  • Market analysis, automotive trends, competitor's offers
  • Preparing and presenting product business reviews and forecasts
  • Kia model performance analysis
  • Kia model price competitiveness monitoring (JATO, internal reports)
  • Product specification (new models configuration, action models launch, product lifecycle management)
  • Pricing process management (pricing of new/action models, price structure management, achieving planned profitability by model)
  • Managing product materials (product analysis, product guides, sales materials - pricelists, technical data, brochures)
  • Internal systems product specs setting
  • Product trainings (new salesman, new products, financial products)
  • Any ad hoc tasks requested by supervisor relating to the role in the firm

Person Specification:

  • Minimum two year's work experience preferable
  • Experience in product pricing marketing preferable
  • Very good presentation skills.
  • Negotiation and trouble shooting skills.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Degree of business administration preferable.
  • Good computer skills, Excel proficiency and JATO, preferable
  • Interest in automotive
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Quality orientated with analytical and organisational skills
  • Team player
  • Self-motivated, responsive and organised, as well as accurate working style
  • Ability to understand complex contexts
  • Patient, resilient and result driven
  • Willingness to work in an international environment
  • Active driver
