Sr. UX/UI Designer

As a Sr. UX/UI Designer, you will design and optimize seamless digital experiences, ensuring user journeys are intuitive, conversion-driven, and aligned with brand standards across all digital touchpoints. You will be responsible for the UX Development and Conversion Optimization for the Compressor Technique (CT) Business Unit.  

You will report to UX/WEB Product Owner / Team Leader.

You will be responsible for:

User Research & Insights

• Lead user research initiatives (interviews, surveys, usability testing) to uncover friction points, behaviors, and unmet user needs.
• Leverage data and UX tools (heatmaps, session recordings, analytics dashboards) to understand the "why" behind user behaviors and identify areas of opportunity.
• Integrate research findings into A/B testing and CRO roadmaps, translating insights into actionable design and optimization strategies.
• Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data into clear, data-driven recommendations that balance user experience, conversion goals, and brand integrity.

UX/UI Design & Optimization

• Design end-to-end user experiences that align with customer needs and business objectives—spanning landing pages, product pages, cart, and checkout flows.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma that clearly communicate user flows and design intent.
• Apply accessibility, usability, and responsive design best practices, maintaining clear SOPs for content and visual standards.
• Design and test page variations (e.g., landing pages, PDPs, checkout) to enhance engagement, conversion, and customer satisfaction.
• Adopt a multi-channel mindset, tailoring designs and recommendations to suit traffic sources, campaign goals, and audience intent.
• Continuously refine and optimize the digital customer journey based on data insights, testing results, and evolving e-commerce best practices.

Collaboration

• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, engineering, and creative teams to align UX/UI execution with brand strategy and technical feasibility.
• Present research findings and design proposals effectively to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

You have 6+ years of experience as UX/UI Designer, with a strong focus on e-commerce environments.

Portfolio:

Demonstrated expertise in both research methodologies and design execution.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Figma and related design/prototyping tools.
• Solid understanding of CRO principles and hands-on experience contributing to conversion rate optimization strategies.
• Experience in doing User Research & Design Thinking
• Ability to apply design thinking into complex problem spaces
• Experience working with headless architecture.
• Familiarity with web analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Clarity, Hotjar, etc.).

Soft Skills:

• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration across marketing, product, engineering, and external agencies.
• Ability to present and rationalize design decisions effectively.
• Detail-oriented, data-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced e-commerce context.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our Atlas Copco Services branch in Brno, Czech Republic (CZ).

The team is usually meeting 2 days per week in the office at Holandska str. 10, Brno.
