About the role
The Ubiquiti Pilsen office is looking for a Javascript Developer for our QA Automation Department. This position will create new and maintain current end-to-end tests with all testing infrastructure and framework. We´re looking for a reliable team player with (at least) base knowledge of computer networks. We expect you too bring your enthusiasm and creativity wherever you go and put them in the work you do. You should be able to think out of the box when finding solutions to brand new problems and make things work when the solution is not straightforward. This position is suitable for graduates too. We offer you a career starter position with possibility to grow.

Candidates should be prepared to work from our Pilsen office at least three times per week.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Work within a small team of other developers and testers
  • Eenjoy creating clean code, tests and outstanding user experience
  • Willingness to learn new things on a regular basis 

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Coding in Javascript )
  • Base knowledge of computer networks (TCP/IP protocols and services)
  • Base knowledge of Unix/Linux (shell commands, ssh)

Nice to have:

  • Experience in testing 
  • Experience in popular e2e testing technologies (Selenium, webdriver, css selectors)
  • Knowledge of version control systems (git) and issue trackers (Jira, Bugzilla, YouTrack)
  • Experience in React, Redux, Docker, SQL database (PostgreSQL), MongoDB

Our project stack:

In this role you will work on UISP project, next-generation network management system for ISPs (Internet Service Providers). The main goal of UISP is to simplify networking to empower anybody to start his own ISP business. Currently, UISP is used by more than ISPs and it manages millions of devices world-wide.
