The British Council is seeking a Exams Planning & Scheduling Coordinator to join our dynamic Cluster Planning and Scheduling Team, supporting exam operations across the North EU Exams Cluster. This role plays a pivotal part in translating demand into resource and capacity plans for venues and test materials, ensuring optimal service delivery, cost efficiency, and agility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate an 18-month rolling plan for all exam products.
- Manage capacity planning for exam sittings, venues, and materials.
- Lead online registration and payment processes, entry listings, and timetabling.
- Implement venue strategy and manage bookings in collaboration with venue owners.
- Ensure compliance with awarding body deadlines and British Council standards.
- Monitor planning effectiveness, productivity, and cost to serve.
- Support risk management and contingency planning.
- Provide input to dashboards, reports, and audit frameworks.
- Support team development.
- Participate in Test Day Duty Officer rota, including early mornings and weekends.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience working under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Background in compliant and regulated environments.
- Strong planning and organisational skills, ideally with large teams.
- English language proficiency at CEF C1 level.
- Czech language proficiency at CEF C1 level.
Desirable:
- Experience in risk management.
- Relevant professional qualifications.
- University degree in any discipline.
Further Information:
- Must have the permanent right to live and work in Czech Republic
- Job type: part time (50%), 17.5 working hours per week
- Salary: from 16 900,- CZK to 20 280,- CZK gross monthly
- Contract: One years fixed term contract
