Your area of work

Core Infrastructure has the responsibility for the Networks, Connectivity, Virtualization and Data Center for Deutsche Börse Group. We operate out of Frankfurt, Luxembourg, Prague, Chicago and Zürich.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Network Security Engineer to lead our efforts in deploying and managing network security in Azure and GCP.

This role is pivotal in transitioning our team to a development and product-oriented approach, with Agile methodologies and cloud solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Design, Develop, and deploy Network Security as a Service in Azure and GCP with a focus on coding and orchestration design.
• Lead development and implementation of IaC assets and orchestration strategies for network security solutions.
• Partner with Product Management to drive Agile and product-oriented development.
• Develop scalable and efficient cloud solutions, with an emphasis on modern security.
• Bridge development and network architecture, translating network needs into effective cloud-based solutions.

Your profile

• Proficient in Azure (mandatory) and GCP (desirable) cloud services and security concepts.
• At least 3 years on similar position
• Experienced in DevOps practices, CD/CI pipelines and automation.
• Skilled in scripting (Python & Terraform is a must).
• Strong collaborative skills for effective partnership with Product Management and the Engineering Team.
• Advanced testing abilities: experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing methodologies to ensure reliability and quality of our software.
• CD/CI Expertise: proficient in setting up and maintaining continuous integration and deployment pipelines, facilitating rapid and safe deployment to production.
• Proactive learner, adaptable to new technologies and methodologies.
• Excellent communicator, capable of translating complex technical concepts for various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.

Following experience is a plus:

• Proficiency in workflow automation and systems integration.
• Prior network experience is beneficial, but not mandatory.
• ML/AI Ops experience to build self-healing systems and respond intelligently to infrastructure events and customer requests.
