Workshop Draftsman

ABOUT THE JOB

As our Workshop Draftsman, you will:

• Analyze drawings from engineering to create production execution plans (cutting plans, bending plans, sawing plans…). You'll also give regular feedback to engineers on design.
• Follow up on production planning and prepare related documentation.
• Propose material substitutions to engineers based on different standards.
• Define make-or-buy decisions based on the bill of materials and collaborate with the workshop buyer on ordering and supplier evaluation.
• Update and maintain design drawings so the workshop team always has the latest versions, ensuring process accuracy.
• Cooperate with the CNC programmer in material preparation.

ABOUT YOU

We imagine our ideal candidate would:

• Have a technical secondary school degree or higher, with experience in production preparation.
• Be skilled at reading technical drawings. Knowledge of welding processes is an advantage.
• Have experience using 2D software, preferably AutoCAD. Experience with 3D software is a plus.
• Bring knowledge of production technologies such as plasma cutting and bending.
• Have an intermediate level of proficiency in MS Office.
• Be fluent in Czech and communicative in English.
