The Banking Analyst reports into the EMEA Controller and is part of a EMEA P&S controllership team. The Banking Analyst is primarily responsible for process and clearing bank transactions on timely basis and maintain accurate bank records.
Join a team that delivers a variety of routine and some non-routine clerical and accounting functions in Accounts payable or Accounts receivable. You will be responsible for reconciling bank accounts, posting information and balancing in general or subsidiary ledgers. You will also be responsible for processing payments and compiling monthly closing. You will ensure that all Company policies and procedures are met with correct authorization and documentation as applicable. You are also required to demonstrate good judgment with respect to allocation of expenses. Deliver results through standard accounting processes in the areas of payables and receivables. Manage Vendor accounts and process supplier invoices. Streamline processes and improve supplier relationship and efficiency.
JOB DUTIES:
- Ensure all bank statements are loaded daily
- Reconciliation of bank balance to ERP system daily
- Ensure all bank transactions are cleared on a timely basis
- Oversee the manual payment process (AGILE Tool)
- Ensure all month-end close processes run accurately and on-time
- Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Assist in any finance related audits, as required
- Ad-hoc miscellaneous duties
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Some experience with Accounts Payables & receivables
- Experience in usage of SAP
- Good communication skills
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to identify when appropriate approvals are required
- Accountable for achieving objectives
