YOUR TASKS

  • Develop and manage RFQs, RFPs, and tenders for domestic and international freight services
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with transport providers across Road, Sea, Air, and Rail modes
  • Analyze freight bids and prepare commercial and technical evaluations
  • Ensure contract compliance, service level agreements (SLAs), and adherence to internal procurement policies
  • Collaborate with logistics, supply chain, operations, and finance teams to forecast freight needs and plan transport solutions
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive freight rates and optimal carrier performance
  • Manage supplier relationships and performance, including KPIs, claims, and dispute resolution
  • Maintain and update freight contract databases and procurement documentation
  • Contribute to cost reduction initiatives, continuous improvement, and process optimization
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, incoterms, and customs documentation standards

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement or a related field

  • 3–5 years of experience in freight procurement (Road, Sea, Air, Rail).

  • Proven track record in managing RFQs, tenders, and bidding processes for transportation services
  • Experience working with freight forwarders, carriers, and 3PL providers

  • Strong understanding of incoterms, customs procedures, and international trade

  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills, ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

  • Experience in contract management and freight auditing

  • Familiarity with sustainability practices in logistics and transport procurement

  • Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and e-sourcing tools

  • Fluency in English (German is a plus)
