As a Financial Controller at MKS - Atotech, you will act as a proactive business partner to the local Sales Team in the Czech Republic and collaborate closely with various stakeholders to provide relevant financial insights that support decision-making. In this role, you will report to the East European Finance Leadership and work in close liaison with the Europe Business Analyst and the Finance Shared Service Center (SSC) in Poznan, Poland.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Delivering high-quality reporting and analysis of business performance, including robust variance analysis between Actual, Budget, and Forecast, with clear business rationale.

• Acting as the first point of contact for SSC Poznan on financial accounting, treasury, AP/AR topics, and coordinating issue resolution for monthly group accounting and reporting.

• Supporting the implementation of harmonized standard processes and accounting policies in collaboration with SSC Poznan, promoting a "One Finance Team" culture.

• Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of annual statutory accounting and reporting requirements for MKS/Atotech CZ/SK, including coordination with external auditors.

• Liaising with the Head of Finance-East Europe and Europe Business Analyst to identify and implement process optimization opportunities, especially automation, and share best practices across regions.

• Preparing monthly closing reports, budgets, forecasts, and business plans as required by Group Finance.

• Supporting SSC AP/AR teams with invoice validation and approval.

• Coordinating mandatory tax deliverables and statutory filings with external providers.

• Assisting in the execution of credit management policies and driving improvements in Accounts Receivables and Working Capital.

• Supporting risk management procedures in collaboration with Group Internal Audit (SoX Team) and SSC, ensuring full compliance.

• Upholding MKS/Atotech compliance standards, including the Code of Conduct, Business Integrity Guide, and Ethical Commitment.

• Ensuring all activities are carried out safely and in accordance with MKS/Atotech regulations and standards.

• Performing ad-hoc finance-related duties as required.

Skills You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller in an industrial company

• Fluency in Czech and English (written and spoken)

• Experience with SAP finance modules, HFM, and MS Excel would be a strong asset

• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently and collaboratively
