MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC ICONIC DIGITAL SOLUTIONS is currently seeking an technical writer to be part of a growing team in at an innovative and fast-paced software company IN PILSEN OFFICE IN CZECH REPUBLIC.

This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.

We are seeking a technical writer with a passion for creativity and excellence.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Research products and create product documentation and online help for ICONICS software products.
  • Review and edit content to ensure consistency and quality, meeting standards and style guidelines. Create screenshots and images as needed.
  • Participate in Agile activities to track and share project status.
  • Work closely with an international team of software development engineers, quality assurance techs, and technical support engineers to ensure documentation accuracy and process user feedback.
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Communications, English, or Computer Science, or a post-secondary degree in an equivalent discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • 3+ years' relevant experience in a similar position
  • Proven ability to write clear, concise, and user-focused technical documentation for a variety of audiences.
  • Experience with MadCap Flare, RoboHelp, or other single-source-multiple-output help-authoring software.
  • Ability to quickly learn new products and tools.
  • Detail-oriented, with a commitment to creating high-quality technical documentation.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (high-level proficiency in Microsoft Word a plus). Analytical, creative, and lateral thinker.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, small-company environment.
  • Desire for continuous self-improvement and learning.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with the software development process and version-control software, such as Git or TFS.
  • Experience with applications such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Snagit, and multimedia tools.
  • Familiarity with HTML and cascading style sheets.
