We are looking for a Senior Crowd Artist with strong Houdini experience to join our team. If you enjoy working in a well-structured environment with a solid, reliable pipeline, you'll feel right at home here.

In this role, you'll work directly within our established crowd system, maintaining and improving it where it truly matters, integrating new agents, working with mocap and animation data, and setting up crowd simulations directly in shots. Our pipeline is stable and proven, so you won't be rebuilding anything from scratch. Instead, you'll have the opportunity to shape meaningful improvements that come from real production needs, not unnecessary reinvention.

What Awaits You:

• Work with and maintain the current Houdini crowd system.
• Integrate new agents into the pipeline when required.
• Use geometry and rigs provided by Modeling and Rigging; handle shader and material setup, define variations, and ensure proper integration into the agent system.
• Retarget mocap and animation data to agents and manage the motion libraries.
• Set up and simulate crowds in shots using existing workflows, delivering stable and predictable results.
• Extend the system in a focused and production-ready way when new project challenges arise, rather than reinventing it.

What Makes You a Match:

• Senior-level experience with Houdini crowd systems.
• Ability to retarget animation data to agents and strong understanding of motion library structure and organization.
• Capability to independently set up and deliver crowd shots.
• Practical knowledge of USD workflows, including instancing, layering, referencing, and variants.
• Clear communication skills and a practical, solution-oriented mindset.
• Preference for simple, reliable approaches over unnecessarily complex solutions.
