- Designing and improving mathematical models and algorithms for sportsbetting
- Statistical modelling, distribution fitting and hypothesis testing
- Developing tools for automated odds calculation and pricing
- Exploring combinatorics, stochastic processes and numerical methods in real-world applications
- Working with engineers to bring your models into production
- Contributing to innovation across the sportsbook platform
- Helping shape new modelling frameworks and analytical approaches
- Degree in mathematics (preferred) or statistical modelling
- Passion for mathematics and problem-solving
- Knowledge of:
- Algebra, metric spaces
- Probability theory, stochastic processes
- Combinatorics
- Numerical methods
- Computational complexity
- Experience with distribution fitting and testing
- Deep interest in sports — understanding of sport dynamics, rules, scoring, and sports statistics
- Excellent command of R and Python (C++ is an advantage)
- What is the probability that the sum of 1000 fair 6-sided dice throws is greater than 4000? Give the answer to at least 12 significant digits.
- How many different giant pizzas can you make if each pizza has 30 circular slices and on each slice you put exactly 1 of 6 sauces?
