JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for Category Manager Machines and MRO to join our Indirect Purchasing team at Knorr-Bremse Services in Liberec.

Your Tasks:

Identifying and actively driving forward initiatives to reduce costs and increase efficiency at a global, regional and cross-location level.Developing and implementing the purchasing strategy for the assigned categories (Machines and MRO) in close collaboration with the Global Category Director, functional departments and the relevant locations.Conducting and finalizing extensive and complex global contract negotiations.Active support in the implementation of sustainability and compliance initiatives.

Your Profile:

Bachelor's/Master's Degree.Several years of professional experience in strategic/commodity sourcing and ideally in Machines and MRO/ indirect or direct purchasing.Work experience in big companies/international corporates/ with multilocation projects.Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing suppliers and their contracts.Ability to communicate effectively across different organizational units and build consensus.Ability to work in a team, assertiveness and strong communication skills.Confident in written and spoken English.Willingness to travel occasionally.
