Your area of work: 

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) area is at the heart of the Information Technology division of Deutsche Börse Group. The CTO area develops and operates the group-wide IT infrastructure (network, data centers and Cloud), the Group Data & Advanced Analytics and the Enterprise Architecture, and therefore significantly contributes to Deutsche Börse Group overall IT strategy. The CTO area drives digital transformation and leverages innovation while keeping production operations stable.

Within the CTO Area, the Cloud / Core Infrastructure department enables the usage of public cloud services from Microsoft and Google and provides core infrastructure services such as data center management and non-trading network operations. The department develops and maintains cloud platforms for GCP and Azure, which allows the other IT departments (Product ITs) to make use of cloud in a safe and efficient manner.

We are seeking a motivated and skilled IT Operator for our Networks, Data Center & Virtualization Section of the Core Infrastructure department.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate and manage the FNT Command tool which is used to document the technical infrastructure of data centers, including servers, network devices, cabling, racks, etc.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of the tool's infrastructure.
• Ensure the operating environment always complies with all regulatory and security requirements.
• Ensure operational stability of the field of responsibility
• Facilitate data exchange between FNT Command and other systems, such as the CMDB, to provide a comprehensive and holistic view of the ICT infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the FNT Command tool.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration and data consistency.

Your Profile

• Graduation from a Technical High School, preferably with a focus on Networking.
• At least 2 years of experience on similar position.
• Working experience with server operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux Server, and cloud infrastructure providers like GCP and Azure.
• Working knowledge with databases, ability to execute DBA activities as well as data retrieval and manipulation on SQL level.
• Practical development experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell) and programming languages is a plus.
• FNT Command knowledge is an advantage.
• Flexible and proficient in handling MS Office applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and be highly problem-solving oriented.
• Confident appearance and high motivation.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Full proficiency in written and spoken English.
