The Department of International and European Law is a department of the MU Faculty of Law that provides teaching and research in private international law, public international law and European Union law as transnational disciplines of law, all in relation to domestic Czech law, legal theory and in comparative contexts.

Your work will include:

• Teaching seminars/exercises in European Union law and introduction to international and European law and involvement in teaching similar subjects in the Bachelor's degree and other study programmes,
• preparation of related study and teaching materials,
• research leading to academic publications,
• participation in related administration.

Required:

• Master's degree in law from a law school, majoring in Law,
• Ph.D. degree (as an assistant professor), or at least a doctoral degree (for the position of assistant/assistant professor),
• interest in the field of the European Union law in relation to Czech domestic law and other disciplines of the Department,
• pedagogical aptitude; practical teaching experience (as an assistant professor/assistant professor),
• aptitude for independent scientific research activity in some of the topics of the field of EUL,
• ability to teach and publish in Czech and eventually also in English, other language skills (especially major languages – official UN languages and German) are an advantage,
• publishing activity in the field,
• moral integrity.
