3EM7006 FPGA Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and communicative FPGA Expert in Prague to take on a strategic
role within a Tier 1 automotive supplier. Acting as a Product Owner, you will be responsible for driving the development
and integration of FPGA-based solutions, with a particular focus on LiDAR technologies. You will serve as
the technical interface between internal teams and external stakeholders,
ensuring alignment between product vision, technical feasibility, and customer
needs

Role Description:

• Lead the definition and development of FPGA
  architectures for automotive applications, especially in LiDAR-based systems 
• Act as Product Owner for FPGA-related components,
  managing the product backlog and prioritizing features based on business and
  technical needs 
• Translate customer and system requirements into
  FPGA specifications and development plans 
• Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and
  system engineering teams to ensure seamless integration 
• Maintain a global understanding of the system,
  ensuring FPGA solutions fit within the overall architecture 
• Communicate effectively with internal and external
  stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams 
• Monitor project progress, risks, and dependencies,
  and ensure timely delivery of FPGA solutions 
• Stay up to date with the latest FPGA technologies
  and automotive standards 

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer
  engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  
  
• +6 years of relative experience
• Proven experience in FPGA development and
  architecture, ideally within the automotive domain
  
  
• Strong understanding of LiDAR technologies
  and their role in automotive perception systems
  
  
• Excellent communication and leadership skills;
  ability to act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams
  
  
• Experience working in cross-functional
  environments and managing technical road maps
• Familiarity with automotive standards such as ISO
  26262, A-SPICE, and functional safety principles 
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Location requirement: This position is open to candidates based in Prague only.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Tier 1 automotive suppliers or OEMs 
• Knowledge of VHDL/Verilog, high-level synthesis
  tools, and FPGA platforms (e.g., Xilinx, Intel)
• Understanding of sensor fusion and perception
  systems
