The Role
As IT Service Operations Technical Analyst, you'll be responsible for resolving IT incidents and requests, providing technical support in a Windows-based environment, and managing infrastructure across Bodycote facilities. You'll also monitor systems, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to IT projects focused on upgrades and service enhancements. In addition, the role requires close collaboration with global IT teams and a commitment to consistently delivering high-quality customer service.
Who/What We're Looking For
Key essentials:
- Strong technical expertise: Experience with Windows Server/Client, Microsoft technologies (AD, DNS, DHCP, Exchange), networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN), mobile OS (iOS/Android), backup solutions, and antivirus tools (preferably Sophos).
- Process knowledge and independent working: Practical understanding of ITIL processes, ability to work both independently and in a team, with a flexible and results-driven mindset under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Professional interaction at all levels, strong written and verbal communication, and willingness to travel as required.
- Fluent German is a must, also flexibility to travel to Germany
