Video Editor

HyroTrader is one of the fastest-growing crypto prop trading firms, and we are looking for a skilled Video Editor / Clipper to support and scale our content production across YouTube and social media.

This role is critical to our content engine. We produce content weekly and already have a strong library of raw material. Your responsibility will be to transform this content into high-quality long-form videos and high-performing short-form clips that match current industry standards and drive reach, engagement, and growth—especially in the US market.

Main Responsibilities

• Edit long-form YouTube videos focused on crypto trading, education, podcasts, and HyroTrader updates.
• Create short-form clips (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) optimized for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Repurpose existing content from our library into new formats and angles.
• Apply subtitles, cuts, pacing, zooms, and effects that match current social media trends.
• Collaborate closely with the content and marketing team to align edits with brand tone and strategy.
• Maintain consistent visual style and quality across all platforms.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of proven experience in video editing.
• Strong knowledge of professional editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects).

CapCut alone is not sufficient.

• Solid understanding of short-form content dynamics and viral mechanics.
• Awareness of US market standards for YouTube and social media content.
• Ability to work efficiently with high content volume and tight deadlines.
• Interest or background in crypto, trading, or finance is a strong advantage.

Important – Portfolio Requirement (Mandatory)

To be considered for this position, you must provide examples of your edited work:

• At least 2–3 short-form videos (Reels / TikToks / Shorts)
• At least 1 long-form YouTube video
• Files or links must be shared via Google Drive, Notion, Dropbox, or another accessible online platform
