MLOps/AIOps Engineer

We're looking for a talented MLOps/AIOps Engineer to join our newly formed Assetization Squad in Prague. This squad transforms proven AI use cases into reusable, scalable assets that deliver measurable business value. By collaborating with technical experts and business stakeholders, we ensure these solutions are practical, secure, and ready for global deployment.

Your impact at NN

You'll play a key role in ensuring that machine learning models are deployed in a scalable, secure, and efficient way. By combining development and operations best practices, you'll help bring AI solutions into production with a strong focus on reproducibility, governance, and performance. You'll work with modern tools and cloud-native technologies to operationalize AI assets and make them ready for real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deploy ML workflows using Databricks Asset Bundles, Unity Catalog, and MLflow.

• Collaborate on model development, experimentation, and feature engineering.

• Maintain version control, automation, and orchestration using Git, Azure DevOps, YAML/JSON.

• Implement and maintain MLOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, testing, and monitoring for AI assets; batch scoring, live inference, model monitoring, and explainability.

• Support feature store integration and reusable infrastructure modules.

• Ensure reproducibility, governance, and compliance across environments and teams.

• Contribute to Python library development and packaging for internal reuse.

• Mentor team members on MLOps best practices and emerging frameworks.

What we expect from you

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data/AI Engineering, or a related field. Cloud or MLOps certifications are a plus.

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in MLOps, AI Ops, or Data Engineering, with a strong focus on deploying ML/LLM models in production.

• Solid knowledge of Python, SQL, PySpark, and ML/AI frameworks, along with experience in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

• Practical experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog, MLflow, Delta Lake, and Mosaic AI in Azure environments.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Bicep), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and compliance.

• A collaborative mindset, effective communication skills, and a willingness to learn and mentor others.

• Advanced English proficiency required for working in an international environment.

What is the hiring process with us like

Once we review your application and English CV, Marek (Talent Acquisition Partner - RPO) will give you a short introductory call to discuss your previous experience and the open position. If this call goes well, we'd like to invite you to two interview rounds in total.
The first round will be an online meeting with Karel (Hiring Manager / AI & Automation Manager) and Marek (Talent Acquisition Partner – RPO). If the first interview goes well, we'll share a case study for you to complete within one week. After that, we'll schedule the second round—a technical interview with Karel and senior team members, where you'll present your case study and discuss it together with the team.
