• Pair with junior QA engineers to share testing techniques and support squad testing capabilities.
• Design, develop, and implement automated tests for new features and components (mostly in TypeScript and Playwright).
• Execute both manual and automated testing processes, aligning with sprint specifications.
• Identify, analyze, and report defects, working closely with development teams for resolution.
• Collaborate within the QA engineering team to enhance and expand our automated testing framework and infrastructure.
• Participate in agile squad planning sessions, contributing to sprint goals and quality strategy.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and detailed test cases to ensure thorough coverage.
• Continuously research and implement new testing tools, technologies, and best practices. How you’ll be measured:
• Consistency in delivering quality tests that align with engineering needs and user experience goals.
• Participation in code reviews, with a focus on test quality, usability, and maintainability.
• Cross-functional collaboration on rolling out automated testing within your assigned domain teams.
• Engagement in team collaboration, documentation, and process improvement efforts within the QA team.
• Proactive resolution of defects and team-level test pass rates.
• Positive impact on team culture and knowledge sharing within the QA and development teams.
