We are looking for a hands-on, operationally-minded HR Manager to run all day-to-day HR activities for our Czech manufacturing plant. You will cover the full HR scope — recruitment, training, performance, employee relations, payroll and compliance — and ensure the plant is fully compliant with Czech legislation while staying aligned with our global HR framework.
Main Responsibilities
· Manage the full employment lifecycle at the plant: workforce planning, recruitment and staffing, onboarding, contracts, transfers and terminations
· Drive the local training plan: identify training needs, coordinate technical, soft-skill, language and mandatory/regulatory trainings
· Run the local performance management cycle (goal setting, reviews, development actions) in line with the company framework
· Provide day-to-day employee relations support: advise employees and line managers; handle disciplinary matters and terminations in a fair, legally sound and documented manner; act as escalation point for sensitive cases
· Ensure compliance with the Czech Labor Code, GDPR and other applicable regulations; keep abreast of legislative changes and update plant practices accordingly
· Manage relations with trade unions / works councils as applicable, including collective-bargaining and consultation processes
· Administer payroll to ensure accurate, on-time payroll and statutory reporting (ČSSZ, health insurance, tax office)
· Administer local compensation and benefits programs
· Run day-to-day HR operations: HRIS and personnel records, vacation and sick-leave management in line with the Czech Labor Code
· Implement and localize HQ HR policies, processes and projects; coordinate with the Europe HR lead and HQ (Shanghai) on HR programs, reporting and cross-site consistency; champion and promote company culture through internal communication and engagement activities Qualifications Requirements
· Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration or a related field
· 5+ years of hands-on, operational HR experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment; experience of HRM in a small
- to mid-size plant is a strong plus
· Solid knowledge of the Czech Labor Code, payroll fundamentals, social security/health insurance administration and GDPR
· Good MS Office skills; experience with HRIS systems
· Good communication and coordination skills; hands-on and down to earth, comfortable in a multicultural organization
• Native Czech; working proficiency in English for communication
