The company provides comprehensive transport solutions, including warehousing, service center, car wash, fuel station, and metrology services. As a member of the FOFR transportation system, Lorenc Logistic offers reliable shipment handling from dispatch to final delivery. The company specializes in transportation requiring special care, including hazardous materials and ADR shipments, supported by regularly renewed certifications.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver role based in Klatovy. The Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating company trucks on regional and international routes, ensuring timely pickup, transport, and delivery of goods. Daily tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing and unloading cargo as needed, and maintaining accurate delivery and compliance documentation. The role requires adherence to DOT and relevant EU transport regulations, company safety policies, and procedures for the transport of general and specialized shipments, including hazardous materials where applicable. The Truck Driver will also communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers to support efficient and professional service.
Qualifications
• Possess strong Truck Driving skills and experience operating commercial trucks safely and efficiently.
• Hold a valid CDL Class A (or equivalent local professional driving license) suitable for international freight transport.
• Demonstrate knowledge of DOT Regulations and relevant European transport and safety standards.
• Ability to handle loading and unloading tasks and secure cargo according to company and legal requirements.
• Clean driving record and a strong commitment to road safety and regulatory compliance.
• Basic mechanical awareness to perform routine inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Reliable, organized, and able to manage time and routes independently, including flexible
working hours
.
• Good communication skills and professional conduct when interacting with dispatchers, colleagues, and customers.
• Experience with transportation of hazardous materials and ADR shipments is an advantage; related certifications are beneficial.
