Job Description

Our IT team partners with the business to propose innovative solutions and collaborate internationally to deliver services. We closely partner with our Company's R&D to provide innovative solutions and enable new products and capabilities. We are seeking a technical lead for Trial Site Monitoring and Engagement products within our Trial and Site Management product line to drive technical change and contribute to product roadmaps in collaboration with R&D and other orgs.

The IT Technical lead is empowered and responsible for:

  • Build strong relationships with Enterprise Architect team and business for efficient delivery of business solutions.
  • Gain deep understanding of business processes, systems, and data related to Trial and Site Management product line.
  • Develop understanding of applicable technology solutions for requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement integration plans.
  • Actively participate in technical implementation of key applications to ensure alignment with business needs and well-engineered systems.
  • Demonstrate independent problem-solving ability within job responsibilities.
  • Share best practices, tools, and techniques across product teams.
  • Partner with vendors to optimize solutions and enhance product capabilities.
  • Contribute to agile teams to achieve common goals.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proficiency in SQL programming and server-side programming with Python or
  • Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or
  • Familiarity with integration platforms for data integration and transformation, and understanding of various APIs and integration protocols.
  • Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, JIRA, and Confluence.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experienced in Agile teams and Scrum framework.
  • Strong communication skills for technical and business audiences.
  • Proficient in gathering requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
  • Up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Work experience with SaaS solutions (e.g., Workday, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint).
  • Leadership experience with and without formal authority.
  • Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards.
  • Preferred hands-on pharmaceutical or regulated industry experience.
  • Relevant cloud platform and integration platform certifications.
