To support our mission, we're looking for a talented Affiliate and Partnership Manager to take over our rapidly growing affiliate program, and help us find more affiliates and other partners for win-win collaborations.
Who are we looking for?
- You have 3+ years of experience in an affiliate manager role, ideally from another global tech company with a focus on the US market.
- You have a deep understanding of affiliate program creation and optimization and a proven track record of successfully managing affiliate programs and partnerships.
- You have a passion for affiliate marketing and the latest trends. You know all about the latest developments, and you enjoy trying and testing new strategies.
- You're good at building and maintaining relationships with affiliates and other partners.
- You can think outside the box. There are lots of different strategies you can implement, so you need to explore them all and experiment.
- You know there is a finite amount of work we can do, and you know how to prioritize and execute on the most promising opportunities.
- You have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- You are highly organized, can multitask, and work across multiple teams.
- You're a strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
- You have excellent written and verbal skills in English.
- Any technical background is a plus, either in formal third-level education or in the trenches of another tech company.
- It's a plus to have an existing network and relationships with publishers and partners in the tech niche (primarily in the US).
What will you be doing?
- Responsible for the development and execution of affiliate marketing strategy, including setting up incentives for new partners.
- Understand the needs of current and future partners and prepare tailored product messaging, brand differentiation, marketing content, and other collateral. We want to keep our partners happy with the relationship, so that they promote us as much as possible.
- Actively develop, activate, and expand our affiliate partner community across new channels, including everything from YouTube to subreddits.
- Monitor, listen, and respond to partner requests, but also proactively keep an eye on the ways they promote Apify to protect our brand and make sure our brand guidelines are being followed.
- Own targets for affiliate revenue and prepare regular reports. You and our data team will set up and manage tracking systems to keep an eye on traffic, conversions, ROI, and more. Then you'll analyze trends and find opportunities, or identify threats before they become a problem.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices, and make sure we use them ourselves to achieve our goals.
- The affiliate program doesn't exist in a vacuum. You'll work with marketing and various teams to support other marketing campaigns and product launches with corresponding planned affiliate activity.
What we expect from you in the first 6 months:
By the end of the first 3 months, we expect you to:
- Understand our existing partner network, become familiar with our partner management software, and identify new potential partners we can approach.
- Establish strong relationships with existing affiliate partners, and figure out what resources they are currently using and resources they would need from us.
- Conduct a competitive analysis of our affiliate program to grasp the market landscape and identify key differentiators.
- Embed our brand and content guidelines and our unique culture in your DNA.
- Understand Apify's marketing channels and how affiliates can complement and enhance our efforts to acquire new customers.
- Begin actively recruiting and onboarding new partners, identifying relevant publishers, content creators, and communities, particularly in the US market.
- Take over managing all inbound partner requests.
- Achieve early successes by developing and implementing initial campaigns.
By the end of the first 6 months, we expect you to:
- Take full ownership of the affiliate marketing strategy, aligning it with our overall marketing objectives, OKRs, and growth targets.
- Activate and nurture relationships with key partners, ensuring they are motivated, engaged, and consistently promoting Apify.
- Ensure our partners are well-equipped with resources, support, and incentives to promote Apify effectively.
- Set up and optimize tracking systems with the data team to monitor affiliate performance, including traffic, conversions, and ROI.
- Propose and implement strategies to optimize the affiliate program, such as new offers, incentives, and expanded partnerships, while exploring new market opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with the broader marketing team to integrate affiliates into other marketing initiatives, product launches, and campaigns, ensuring a cohesive strategy.
