You have at least 7 years of experience in leading IT development teams in the financial sector, and a previous experience of working on migration of application to new technology like integration of event driven application/software.

You have a Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and are fluent in English.

You have a strong knowledge of:

  • Java development and frameworks (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, etc.)
  • .net
  • Event driven architecture and messaging technologies (Kafka, MQ, etc.)
  • Service Oriented Architecture (Microservices and RESTful APIs)
  • DevOps and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Maven, etc.)
  • Cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Testing tools and frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, etc.)
  • Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

You have a good knowledge of:

  • Financials concepts ideally knowledge of Securities settlement processes and systems
  • Database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, etc.)
  • Web development and frameworks (Angular, React, etc.)
  • Business process modelling and automation (Camunda, etc.)

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Group Business Solution - Poland team, a newly created team supporting the delivery of different entities of the group.  You will start by building a team of engineers and testers contributing to the IT delivery of the EUI strategic modernisation programme and other strategic Euroclear group initiatives.   You will act as a technical lead for GBS Poland technical team, recruiting, onboarding a team of IT professionals,  providing technical expertise and guidance, ensuring the alignment and integration of the IT solutions, and collaborating with the different GBS tribes and other stakeholders.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Group Business Solutions (GBS) division ensures the competitiveness of Euroclear by delivering reliable and sustainable IT solutions for the financial securities markets. Our technical teams deliver new IT solutions and improve existing applications for both our internal and external clients. We deploy changes into the production environment in a controlled and structured way that doesn't compromise production stability and we ensure applicative production support.
