  • BA/BS degree, UX Certification, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5 years of professional UX experience or UX Certification + 3 years of UX Related roles.
  • A mission-driven focus with a passion for spearheading change in complex healthcare environments, awareness of payer/provider reimbursement models, and interoperability/healthcare tech trends
  • Understanding of Human Centered Design (HCD) process
  • Working knowledge of current User Experience methods and tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including confident presentation skills.
  • A strong interest and ability to design on behalf of people with serious and complex medical conditions.
  • End-to-end knowledge of all stages of User Experience Design (Problem Definition, Sketching, Prototyping, Iteration, Refinement, and Evaluation).
  • Experience working within Agile teams.
  • Experience working inside a Health System or Health Related product, and the security, sensitivity of Protected Health Information preferred
  • A work environment that is conducive to high quality virtual interactions. This includes but is not limited to being able to work from a quiet space with minimal interruptions or distractions, and a strong internet connection.

Summary:

The User Experience Designer role partners with Product Design, Product Management, Experience Design team members, Enterprise Stakeholders, and marketing to create optimal experiences across a variety of Bamboo Health properties.  This role will report to the Director of Product Management and will be working inside of various product teams, focused on specific solutions for our increasing product portfolio. You will be making decisions, and creating solutions, that help to shape the future of coordinated care.

What Success Looks Like…

In 3 months…

  • You will have assessed the needs of your projects and will have partnered with Design leadership to develop a reasonable capacity schedule for each project.
  • You will have developed a UX Research plan for each of your projects.
  • You will have implemented and be actively adapting to department wide design standards.

In 6 months…

  • You will be able to create an internal design roadmap for enhancement, development, repair of your assigned products.
  • You will be able to educate others on the goals of your assigned products and projects.
  • You will be able to make product recommendations that eliminate user product/project friction and improve stakeholder results.
  • You will be able to effectively transition other Design Team members onto your projects.
