Required and Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of professional Android app development experience
  • Proven experience as an Android Developer, with a strong portfolio of successful mobile app projects
  • Experience with RESTful JSON based APIs and web service integration
  • Strong understanding of Android app design principles and user experience (UX) best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Role-specific Competencies:

  • Android Development: Proficiency in Android app development using Java and Kotlin. Knowledge of the Android SDK, Jetpack and relevant tools.
  • User-Centric Design: Strong understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles to create user-friendly and intuitive applications.
  • API Integration: Experience with RESTful API integration and data handling to fetch and manipulate data from remote servers.
  • Testing and Debugging: Skill in testing, debugging, and optimizing Android applications to ensure they perform efficiently and are free of bugs.
  • Mobile Security: Knowledge of best practices for mobile app security and data protection to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of user data.
  • Agile Development: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile team.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Version Control: Proficiency in using version control systems, to manage source code and collaborate with other team members.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with team members and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Continuous Learning: A commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies.

FTS Polska is looking for a mid-senior Android Developer to join to our team in Krakow. This position will involve working in a small group of dedicated developers working on mobile apps. Daily standups, JIRA sprints, code reviews. Join a fast-paced Company and partake in challenging projects.
