To support all these missions requires a strong talent acquisition team. Our team had an amazing 2024 which has allowed us to expand the team in 2025. We work on hundreds of requirements across Europe every year. As part of our Human Resources team, Talent Acquisition helps support our contract and bid managers across the European space business.
As we look to grow the business, we are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in the Czech Republic. This person will report directly into the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist (Italy, Czech & Spain). The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the evolving needs of our organisation. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless recruitment process, fostering a positive candidate experience, and supporting our company’s growth and success.

This is a remote job from anywhere in the Czech Republic along as you can travel to our Prague office at least a couple of times a month.

Responsibilities:
- You will work as part of our European Space Talent Acquisition team helping to find awesome talents across Europe for Serco but also for International and National Space Agencies such as the European Space Agency and EUSPA.
- Review and analyse job descriptions and SoW’s, extracting the core responsibilities and requirements to find the most suitable candidates.
- Schedule and plan the different requirements to ensure all deadlines are met, creating actions in our ATS system (Tribepad / Phenom)
- Advertise vacancies through appropriate channels, ensuring that active applicants are reached.
- Headhunt potential candidates to ensure that passive candidates are reached.
- Review applicant submissions to evaluate if they meet the requirements.
- Perform pre-screening and preliminary interviews via TEAMS video conferencing.
- Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in our ATS system.
- Build out talent pipelines/network of candidates through our ATS system for future hiring needs (succession planning).
- Ensure all required documents for client submissions are to a high standard to ensure that our candidates get the best representation possible and in compliance with the requirements of the customer.
- Provide support in scheduling and arranging interviews with our key customers.
- Participate to general tenders and restricted tenders’ preparation for what concerns the delivery team sourcing and presentations.
- Contribute to the growth of the company by helping our talent acquisition team in streamlining processes and procedures.
- Work closely with marketing department to help promote targeted recruitment campaigns for our customers key hires.
- Ensure continual improvement of the team’s knowledge base with regards to understanding of positions, industry, candidate profiling and risk identification.
- Be known as a subject matter expert on space recruitment and be active on LinkedIn as well as other business-related social media platforms.
- Attend space conferences / events in-person and online to represent Serco in the Czech Republic.
- Regular visits to our Prague office as and when the business requires.
Profile:
- Good knowledge of the European Space sector is advantageous but not essential.
- 2+ years high street recruitment experience (Commercial roles such as Administrators, Secretaries, Accounting, Project Control, OR technical roles such as IT / Engineering)
- IT literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to advance their career in recruitment.
- High Integrity.
- Team Player.
- Fluent in English, additional European language a plus but no essential.

- Strong work ethic and flexibility to work under pressure in a deadline oriented and fast paced environment.
- High degree of self-motivation, energy, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Are ambitious, eager to learn and want to progress quickly in your career.
- Are a professional with a strong sense of responsibility.
- International experience is a plus.
