Group Head of PR

We are seeking Group Head of PR & Communications to be responsible for communications across CEE markets, manage media relations, and act as Heureka Group’s spokesperson. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape our brand's presence while working in a dynamic e-commerce environment. 

• Responsible for Heureka Group communications in the Group (CZ, SK, HU, RO, BG, SI, CRO).

• Act as the spokesperson for Heureka Group entities.

• Create and execute a PR & communication strategy while building strong media relations across the CEE region.

• Manage crisis communication efforts.

• Supervise PR agencies.

• Coordinate selected social media for Heureka Group (LinkedIn, Twitter).

• Experience with both covering reactive PR requests and driving proactive PR media coverage.

• Desire to learn and explore new media types, media outlets, ability to break outside of “the norms”.

• Deep knowledge of CZ/SK/HU markets, other markets are a plus.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in public relations, media relations and crisis communication.

• Proficiency in English (C1-C2 level) and Czech (fluent).

• Analytical skills with experience working with data and statistics.

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic e-commerce environment. Knowledge of the e-commerce environment is a plus.

• Resilience with the ability to work under pressure and to think conceptually and creatively.

• A team player with the ability to work independently.

• Play a key role in shaping communication strategies and building media relations across the CEE region.

• Maternity cover position with a 2-year limited contract (includes a 3-month probation period), with the possibility of contract extension.

• Hybrid work model: approx. 3 days in the office, 2 days from home per week.
