Group IT Auditor with Cyber Security and Data Analysis Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Auditor with expertise in cyber security and data analysis to join our Internal Audit team. This role ensures the cyber security and compliance of our infrastructure within our Media Group, focusing on adherence to the NIS 2 directives. The ideal candidate will enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness by supporting business auditors with data extraction and analysis.

Responsibilities and key activities:

  • Conduct IT risk assessments and execute the IT audit plan across the entire Media Group. Part of this area is not only pure IT, but also technology for ensuring TV broadcasting.

  • Ensure compliance with NIS 2 directives by reviewing and assessing cyber security policies, procedures, and controls.

  • Identify vulnerabilities, recommend security measures, and conduct cyber security audits at regular two-year intervals within all Group companies.

  • Identify weaknesses and inefficiencies in IT processes and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.

  • Offer recommendations to improve IT governance and risk management in non-IT language.

  • Complete audits within agreed timeframes, scope, and quality, maintaining accurate documentation and preparing actionable audit reports.

  • Follow up on audit findings to ensure closure.

  • Support business auditors with data extraction and analysis. Approx. 30% of capacity.

  • Collaborate with top management to identify risks and recommend process improvements.

  • Travel within Europe to individual Group companies as needed / as part of conducting individual audits.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in IT auditing, acting as an internal consultant and trusted business partner.

  • Participate in developing internal auditing methodology.

Qualification:

  • Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Technical, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT auditing, cyber security, and data analysis.

  • In-depth knowledge of IT audit methodologies and cyber security frameworks. Familiarity with NIS 2 compliance requirements.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-border internal audit colleagues.

  • Proficiency in data extraction and analysis is a significant advantage.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC) or any other cyber security focused certifications.

  • Fluency in English.
