Czech Technical University in Prague’s Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Department of Cybernetics is seeking a skilled professional for the role of DevOps & Software Engineer.

Maintenance and development of internal processes for software development, automated build, and deployment pipelines for robotics software.

Position Objective

We are developing an open-source robotics framework consisting of multiple packages and resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our automated build and test pipeline, ensuring seamless usability by the MRS team and end-users with minimal friction. The deployment pipeline guarantees software usability and allows users to upgrade or downgrade as needed.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design, development, and maintenance of a CI/CD deployment pipeline for the robotics framework.
  • Updating and improving the deployment pipeline for upcoming packages, assisting system developers with integration into the pipeline while adhering to the BDD framework.
  • Maintenance of the robotics framework from a build and deployment perspective, releasing new versions of systems for users, providing assistance with documentation and usability.
  • Monitoring new versions of dependencies and related software, incorporating these updates into the system regularly.
