IFRS 13 Specialist

we are seeking an experienced IFRS Specialist for our client in the financial services sector. If you have expertise in IFRS and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we have an exciting opportunity for you

what you will do

• Keep track of changes and updates in IFRS 13 related to fair value measurements, translating these into clear internal guidelines and actionable strategies.
• Oversee the uniform implementation of fair value standards across all entities within the group, ensuring compliance and consistency.
• Conduct impartial evaluations of valuation models and key management estimates included in consolidated financial reports.
• Critically assess valuation outputs to confirm their accuracy, transparency, and reliability, eliminating ambiguities or unclear methodologies.
• Provide well-informed recommendations and insights to senior leaders, regulatory bodies, and other key stakeholders.
• Support the activities of the Group Valuation Committee, including preparing materials, presenting findings, and offering guidance on proposed actions.

who we are looking for

• University degree in finance or maths
• Experience in IFRS 13, ideally in the banking sector
• Advanced communication skills in English
• Analytical thinking and an interest in working with data and numbers
