About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Network Security Engineer to join our team in Warsaw, Poland. As a pivotal member of our Network Security team, you will focus on developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive network security policies and governance frameworks.

This role demands a unique blend of cybersecurity experience, policy management, governance expertise, and operational acumen. You will work alongside a talented team of software engineers who are changing the image of Poland abroad.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive network security policies and governance frameworks, focusing on Firewall Governance, Secure Web Gateways (SWGs), Cloud Network Security, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and Network Segmentation.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of network traffic and security event data to refine and enhance network security policies.
  • Improve existing policies, identify and remediate gaps in tooling.

You will be working closely with technology architecture and networking teams to review, improve, and implement rules for new applications across multiple firewalls.

Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Network Security, with a strong focus on security policy development, governance, and operations.
  • Expertise in managing and optimizing firewall policies and configurations.
  • Experience with Cloudgenix (SD-WAN), Cloudflare (WAF), Forescout (NAC).
  • Proficient in public cloud environments (AWS preferred), with hands-on experience in cloud network security management (e.g., NACLs, NSGs).
  • Skilled in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform Cloud.
  • Strong scripting abilities (Python, Bash) for automation and integration tasks.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with SIEM technologies (preferably Splunk) for security monitoring and event analysis.
