About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Workday Expert to spearhead global HR transformation initiatives in a long-term freelance contract opportunity with full remote flexibility.

The role focuses on maximizing the value of Workday Core HCM through process optimization, functional enhancements, and user adoption. You will work closely with business stakeholders across different geographies to ensure that Workday delivers measurable impact in daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bridge the gap between business needs and system capabilities using strong functional expertise.
  • Maximize the value of Workday Core HCM through process optimization and user adoption.
  • Analyze current functionality usage vs. available Workday features and identify quick wins.
  • Recommend upgrades and configuration requests to align Workday with evolving business needs.
  • Propose ancillary systems or complementary tools to address identified challenges.
Requirements:
  • Extensive functional Workday expertise, particularly in Core HCM.
  • Strong experience in organization design, security model setup, and compensation planning.
  • Proven track record in Workday configuration, enhancements, and optimization.
