Senior Cloud Data Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, build, and optimization of data pipelines and integration solutions.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud-based data platforms, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and modern DevOps practices.

This role requires a deep knowledge of data engineering principles, including data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehouse management.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business requirements and ensure customer-focused delivery.

  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred).
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and modern DevOps practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and customer focus.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and integration solutions using tools such as Trino, Matillion, and dbt.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based data platforms (primarily AWS, Databricks, Redshift), applying best practices in performance tuning, security, and monitoring.
  • Implement ELT/ETL processes and data models to support advanced analytics and business intelligence needs.
  • Apply DevOps and Agile practices (Git, CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions) for version control, automation, deployment, and release management.
