Senior Data Engineering Position

We seek a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to lead and support data ingestion, staging, processing, and serving using MS Azure services as part of our Supply Chain Analytics team expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain big data (ELT/ETL) pipelines for statistical modeling and business intelligence purposes.
  • Ensure and monitor data quality and integrity, set up and configure data storage systems, manage connections between key data infrastructure elements.
  • Write secure and efficient code, drive engineering best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expertise in Python, SQL, and bash scripting.
  • At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Azure data components, including Azure Data Factory, Blob Storage, Sharepoint, KeyVault, LogicApps, Azure DB, and Synapse.
  • Experience with data workflow orchestration, particularly using ADF.
  • Proficiency in version control and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
  • Familiarity with data governance concepts, such as cataloging and metadata, data lineage, master data, security, and compliance.
  • Business-ready English (B2-C1) proficiency.
  • Experience with Snowflake is highly valued.
  • Experience with Databricks, possibly also Azure ML.
  • Azure Data Engineer or Data Analytics certificate.
  • Familiarity with SAP Business Warehouse as a data source.
  • Understanding of BI tools, such as Power BI.
  • Experience with PySpark or Scala.
