Quality Assurance Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist with strong API and database testing skills to fill a critical role in our international project.

  • Experience in testing SOAP and REST APIs is essential for this position.
  • Knowledge of API testing tools, such as Postman and SoapUI, is required to perform quality tests effectively.
  • Understanding of HTTP, REST, headers, statuses, and JSON/XML formats is necessary to succeed in this QA role.
  • Ability to write SQL queries and work with relational databases is a must for data analysis and testing purposes.
  • Basic experience with DB management tools, such as Oracle SQL Developer, is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Ability to create functional and non-functional test cases is expected of the successful candidate.
Nice to Have Qualifications:
  • Experience with ETL process testing can be beneficial for our project's success.
  • Knowledge of test automation is advantageous for improving our testing processes.
  • Communicative level of English is essential for collaboration with the product team and developers on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing various types of tests: API services, database procedures/views, performance testing (opportunity to learn), automation testing, and non-functional testing.
  • Preparing test cases based on requirements and technical specifications in consultation with the product team.
  • Conducting acceptance tests with clients and stakeholders.
  • Limited involvement in application interface testing due to the primary focus on backend testing.
  • Closely collaborating with the product team, developers, and system administrators to ensure seamless integration and efficient project delivery.
