Product Cybersecurity Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Product Cybersecurity Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a strategic cybersecurity roadmap for product development.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) practices and methodologies, as well as experience in cybersecurity planning, strategy, and roadmap.

You will analyze current cybersecurity threats and trends to anticipate potential security challenges, leverage threat intelligence to inform strategic decision-making and prioritize initiatives, and ensure that our cybersecurity practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a strategic cybersecurity roadmap for product development.
  • Align cybersecurity initiatives with business objectives and risk management strategies.
  • Analyze current cybersecurity threats and trends to anticipate potential security challenges.
  • Leverage threat intelligence to inform strategic decision-making and prioritize initiatives.
  • Ensure that our cybersecurity practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity planning, strategy, and roadmap.
  • English proficiency.
  • Strong understanding of SSDLC practices and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, and other relevant compliance initiatives.
  • Understanding of SSDLC, security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and advocate for security best practices.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful cybersecurity strategies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and respond to changing priorities.
