Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in unlocking the power of data for our company and making us a fully data-driven entity.

The 'Data' function is a large multi-cultural organization with over 600 employees and contractors located mainly in 7 countries. We collaborate with other parts of the organization to foster an environment where ideas can be shared and we win together.

About the Role
  • We are looking for a senior data engineer with strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • You will work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to profile data, build data quality measurement, implement data quality dashboards, and access, manipulate, query, and analyze data using different software and tools.
  • Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and implementing data quality pipelines leveraging data quality modules (data profiling, data quality, and data integration) in Informatica IDMC.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive workshops with business analysts to understand their business context and collect needs around data quality pain points.
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts and stakeholders to profile data, build data quality measurements, implement data quality dashboards, and design, develop, and implement data quality pipelines.
  • Conduct quality assurance activities to validate the effectiveness of data quality pipelines and ensure compliance with established data quality standards.
Requirements
  • Azure certification is required, as well as experience with Informatica and ETL solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data quality concepts, including data profiling, cleansing, and validation.
  • Experience with agile setups, DevOps, and testing frameworks.
