Software Engineer - Java Development

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions.

">

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java EE application development, with experience working with moderately complex software systems. They will also be familiar with Agile methodologies, Scrum frameworks, and version control systems such as Git.

">

A successful Senior Java Developer will lead, mentor, and coach other team members to ensure the success of the team. They will actively contribute to all phases of the software development life cycle, from requirement gathering to deployment.

The role requires strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with customers, product owners, and architects to understand business requirements and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.

The successful candidate will have:

  • ">
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Java EE application development">
  • 1 year of experience with GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine)">
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent">
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred">
  • Strong knowledge of Java, including proficiency in Java 11+ programming language and strong problem-solving skills">
  • Experience with Ansible in devops process automation">
  • Experience in using TDD practices and concepts like DRY and Clean Code">
  • Experience in the use of testing libraries such as Junit, TestNG, Mockito">
  • Experience in XML/Web Services technologies (SOAP, REST)">
  • Experience in working with Relational Databases, preferably Oracle">
  • Experience with tools like Git, IntelliJ, Maven, Jenkins">
  • Demonstrated user level knowledge and experience with Linux operating systems">
  • Familiarity with Cloud Computing concepts, services – preferably GCP and/or AWS">
  • Strong communication skills in English, written and verbal, team player attitude">
  • Nice-to-have skills: Experience with GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes; Familiarity with various architectural styles including Microservices; Spring Core as well as Spring Boot frameworks">
